A multi-talented creative, I'm in deep with the story-telling of two iconic figures in American history and culture, Abraham Lincoln and Marilyn Monroe. Having two depressed, dead yet hopeful souls over each shoulder isn't easy, but they cheer me on. Fall 2025, I'll premiere Season 2 “Marilyn Goes To Mexico, In Search of Kidnapped Jose Luis.” a short series I wrote, directed and starred in on location in Xalapa, Mexico with a local cast and crew of 13. I am currently writing it into an ACTION FEATURE FILM. The premise of a comedic Marilyn coming back to discover modern life is a proof of concept developed in my original online-series “Marilyn Today: Classy Is Back!” I created it after doing 4 years of Stand-up Comedy combined with my prior film-making & acting skills. I honed my comedic skills performing stand-up comedy in LA and New York including the illustrious Belly Room at the Comedy Store and Flappers Comedy Club in LA and Gotham Comedy Club in NYC.In the early Elaina day's, I was a latch-key kid, self starter and a paper girl in upstate NY. I proudly ranked top in Ms. Pacman. Planning and independence I learned young. Kindness mattered.As a grownup, I amassed over: -15,000 hours in writing -25,000 hours in directing, producing, acting, editing, performing stand-up comedy -Founded Spencer Publishing company I graduated with an economics degree from Fordham University at Lincoln Center, NYC. I went on to study film-making through UCLA courses, Hollywood workshops and took acting in NY and LA. I made my directorial debut with a 12 minute short film called MOONDANCE. The film premiered at the original Kodak Theater to glowing reviews and included guest Martin Landau.My other mission: THE POWER OF THE PENNY: ABRAHAM LINCOLN INSPIRES A NATION is my award-winning, visionary children’s book.
