Trained under Dr. Blaine Roberts to purify an essential protein in Alzheimer’s Disease, Amyloid Beta 40 and 42. Ran Bradford Assays, worked the Mass spectrometer, constructed plasmids on BioRad, grew starter colonies, purified protein using the nickel column on an FPLC (fast protein liquid chromatography) and HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography), ran electrophoresis gels as well as western blots, grew TEV protease, and created new protocols. Successfully purified 15 mg/L culture of Amyloid Beta 42.
