I am a junior at the University of Indianapolis studying political science with minors in legal studies and history. At UIndy, I am involved in the Honors College, the Alpha Chi fraternity, and am the secretary and treasurer of the student pre-law association. During my studies, I have gained knowledge and experience through clubs and hope to do the same through internships, such as the Perry Township Small Claims Court Internship.Through my prior work at the Appleton Area School District Marketing Team, I have also found a love for working one-on-one with small business owners to help give them an edge in marketing from the perspective of a young consumer. I have also found a passion for leading people through my prior position as Appleton North DECA Chapter's President. Through this role, I used communication and relationship-building to manage and direct members to a successful competition and educational experience. The competition aspect of DECA has helped me build skills in creative problem-solving, professional writing, and most importantly, professionalism. I am excited to utilize and continue to develop these skills as I pursue my of study political science in college and my goal of attending law school.
