Communications Manager
CurrentI manage Freedom Collaborative’s external communications, including global newsletters, reports, case studies, web-based resources, social media posts and public announcements. I set the tone of our copy, articulate our mission, vision and strategic objectives, and write and edit much of our content. Freedom Collaborative is a partnership-building organisation that facilitates cross-border cooperation between anti-trafficking and labour rights groups worldwide, advocates for systemic change among decision-makers, and creates vertical connections so community-level information reaches policymakers and policy decisions take effect within communities. Our vision is a world free from exploitation, human trafficking, risky migration and labour abuse.We promote community empowerment and resilience as the most effective route to lasting change and believe that individuals and local populations should be at the centre of decision-making and strategising. At the same time, we foster dialogue among civil society, government and private sector stakeholders to ensure that rights and resources are delivered to those on the ground.An independent non-profit organisation, Freedom Collaborative works across more than 100 countries to support collaboration through tools, services and resources for data and information sharing; webinars and workshops; and the facilitation of partnerships within the anti-trafficking sector and beyond.
