I am a coastal scientist with a focus on coastal management, beach erosion, and beach quality. My background is in Oceanography, and I have utilized various geospatial analyses throughout my academic journey to address questions related to coastal change. Currently, I am completing my Ph.D. in Geosciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where my research investigates the relationship between permeability and coastal erosion. Beyond my research, I am an active member of the Coastal Systems Group, Red Proplayas, and CIF-playas, where we use a methodology I developed to evaluate and rank beaches worldwide.
