Elaine S. Buck is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a family relations law specialist. She is trained in collaborative practice, mediation and co-resolution. Elaine also provides representation in adoption.Elaine served on the Ohio Supreme Court's ADR Sub-committee on Collaborative Law that drafted the Ohio Collaborative Family Law Act and supported its passage through her testimony and other legislative assistance. She qualifies as a collaborative practice trainer pursuant to the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Elaine has presented to the Ohio House Judiciary Committee, the Ohio Supreme Court ADR programs, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, Capital University Law School, the Ohio Council of School Board Attorneys.Elaine is a graduate of Brown University and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She is a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Association Foundation and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She has been awarded the designation of "Super Lawyer."Elaine is a past president of the Central Ohio Academy of Collaborative Divorce Professionals and now serves as a Trustee. She is a life member of First Community Church and has chaired of the Board of Northwest Counseling Services, the Brown Alumni School Committee, the Upper Arlington Education Foundation Board of Trustees, and served as the Upper Arlington Community Foundation Trustee.
