With an M.S.Ed from an adult education & human resource development program, I'm striving to develop a career focused on life long learning, professional and personal development, instructional design and consulting. I am very interested and passionate about working in the field of education and instructional design. I am currently an Instructional Designer with JMU Libraries. In this position, I am enjoying the opportunity to engage with others who are passionate about creating meaningful learning opportunities by integrating various practices, pedagogies, platforms, and tools into teaching practices and scholarship. As an Instructional Designer, I work with faculty through the development and implementation of immersive programs, individualized consultations and other events. I am deeply committed to fostering my own personal and professional development through publishing research as well as attending and presenting at conferences. I have also had the opportunity to teach in the College of Education as an adjunct faculty, which has allowed me to continue my own personal and professional development.
