I oversee a team of 11 that communicates and manages relationships with key business audiences for Premera. This includes Premera employees, sales teams, healthcare providers, producers/brokers, and employers. I drive executive communications for key initiatives, including messaging, emails, and talking points. I also host live video interviews for quarterly all-employee meetings, broadcast via Microsoft Teams. I partner with leaders across the company for communications strategy and change management for corporate initiatives.

It's brand storytelling with an internal focus.My team oversees several key communication channels, including corporate meetings and our intranet site. We produce an hour-long, live hybrid show with nearly 2,000 attendees in person and online. I've interviewed guests on the show, shaped executive talking points, and managed live Q&A moderation. Separately, I've hosted employee forums with more than 1,000 attendees.I'm also a founding member of Premera's employee workgroup for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and founder of our employee Pride workgroup.

Funded by a grant from the New Media Women Entrepreneurs initiative, created a participatory site to serve the 140,000 active-duty Navy and Coast Guard members, reservists, base employees and retirees in the Puget Sound area. The site includes guides to local bases, a database of military discounts, and a social network for military spouses and children coping with deployment and family relocation.

Covered Kitsap County’s military community, including naval shipyard, nuclear submarine base, naval station with homeported aircraft carrier and veterans affairs. Deployed to cover Gulf Coast hurricane recovery efforts in October 2005. Produced a blog, audio slideshows and podcasts. Participated in newsroom Web steering committee. Served as backup Web editor.
