In this position, I have expanded my expertise by working across diverse settings, including schools, daycares, and clinics. In these environments, I have supported children with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities, extending beyond the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My role involves collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals to implement evidence-based interventions that promote positive behavioral outcomes.Currently, as a graduate student working toward my BCBA certification, I work a caseload of four clients, with a primary focus on early intervention. I am actively accruing supervised hours, gaining hands-on experience with behavioral assessments, data collection, and treatment plan implementation to support skill acquisition and reduce maladaptive behaviors.

In this position, I play a key role in supporting athletes with IDD by managing the organization’s finances. I developed the annual budget request to secure funding for equipment and sports events, and successfully coordinated a fundraising event with other on-campus organizations. I also collaborated with the USF community and volunteers to organize events and training sessions, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for approximately 15 athletes.
