The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote community wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness; promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness. I support the Continuum of Care Lead Agency team, assisting with the facilitation of coalition meetings, events and training activities. I also support strategic planning, performance evaluation, administration of local funding competitions, preparation of Federal funding applications, and oversee Federal grant sub-awards and vendor contracts.

I am working under the guidance of several peer coaches and mentors - including Senator Kyrsten Sinema - to build my own vision and values statements, conduct power mapping toward strategic collaboration, and fundraise for campaign success. My fellowship is focused on preserving and enhancing affordable housing in Arizona by tackling exclusionary zoning in our state.
