Managing the operational delivery of the Women's Performance Programme across Rugby Sevens and 15s, and leading the implementation of the new women's elite competition; Tyrrells Premier 15s.

Managed the operational and logistical requirements for five of the teams participating in the Rugby World Cup in 2015, including the NZ All Blacks, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of team facilities and services.Role included:- Working with the 5 Head Coaches and Team Managers, planning & implementing their requirements in the lead up to and during the tournament. - Managing essential team requirements for over 250 high profile individuals, including a portfolio of elite training facilities across the UK, security, nutrition, stadium set-up and services, accommodation, freight & logistics, and international & domestic travel.- Contract ownership for 11 Team Training Bases and 16 hotels. - Working across internal departments to negotiate the detailed Team requirements and ensure highest service standards were provided.- Recruiting and managing a team of 32 paid staff, including Team Liaisons, Training Base Managers, Security Advisors and Team Services Coordinators, all working to plan and deliver an exceptional event.

Responsible for the preparation and management of athletes and staff in the Senior Canoe Slalom Team, including delivery at the 2013 World Championships, the most successful ever for Great Britain. Included planning for training camps and competitions, and ensuring the team of athletes, coaches and support staff, had the essential requirements to deliver a world class performance at major international events. Attendance at all Senior events, with responsibility for race preparations, competition functions and operational management of the GB team. Also project managed multiple UK-based projects for GB Canoeing including: the development of an Elite Performance Centre for Canoe Slalom at Lee Valley White Water Centre, the creation of a Talent Programme in the South of England to ensure a lasting legacy from the London Olympic Games, and the development of an effective IT platform and a performance information system to support the progress of the sport in the Rio Olympic cycle and beyond.

Planning for and successfully delivering the Canoe events at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Working in close consultation with the International Federation, ensuring that the 2 venues (Lee Valley & Eton Dorney) were fully prepared for the requirements of the sport and provided the best possible environment, services and support for the athletes and officials. Key areas included: RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT- Liaising with over 30 departments at LOCOG to influence the development of the venue and plan the service provision that was essential for the successful delivery of the 2 competitions. - Recruitment, training and management of a large team of paid staff and volunteers, key to delivering the events, building and developing a high performing team in a short space of time.- Building and developing successful working relationships with external contacts including International Federations, Technical Officials and National Olympic Committees.- Coordinating information sharing and communications with a variety of internal and external audiences. EVENT MANAGEMENT- Using excellent organisation and decision-making skills to ensure resources were maximised, project deadlines were met and the setting provided for athletes to perform to their full potential. - Ensuring that the sport and athletes' needs were kept at the forefront of the planning processes and being the central point of contact for the Sport Team.- Working tirelessly to ensure all sport areas and services operated effectively and efficiently throughout the training and events.

Responsible for Team Manager relations and the effective running of athlete areas and services during the Paralympic Games. Full provision of team services including sport equipment and information, the athlete lounge, medal ceremonies, athlete transport, team equipment logistics, athlete catering and all other in-venue sport-specific requirements. Included the training and management of over 50 volunteers and contractors.

Project management of the UK's Talent ID and Development initiatives, providing specialist support to sports to assist recruitment and development of future talent. Worked closely with multiple Olympic and Paralympic sports; planning and delivery of public appeal campaigns to provide solutions and drive improvements within sports; planning and delivery of large-scale athlete testing events; budget management; recruitment and development of service providers; and contract and MoU creation.

Management of the UK Anti-Doping Programme for a portfolio of Olympic and Professional sports. Planning, delivery and development of the UK's testing programme; built trusting relationships with stakeholders and leaders within UK National Governing Bodies, developed and managed partnerships with key international sport organisations; management of the team of Testing Officers; management of the UK's pre-Beijing Olympic testing programme; delivery of national and international training conferences and workshops; provided individual and group athlete education and support; and conducted international contract management and BSI auditing of UK procedures.

7-month assignment preparing for and coordinating UK Sport's staff attendance at the Olympic Games. Required excellent organising skills and adaptability to produce high quality results in a demanding and frequently changing environment.
