Currently volunteer with the Beatson Cancer Charity performing various roles including fundraising, events, reception duties, meeting, greeting and answering enquiries from patients and carers in the Charity Hub. During Lockdown have been assisting with a patient "Give & Go" service, Cafe track and trace and hand hygiene stations in the Beatson Cancer Centre.

Assisted in the day to day running of the Beatson Cancer Charity Cafe, preparing and making hot and cold food, coffees and teas for cancer patients, their families and NHS staff at the Beatson.

Assisted Beatson Cancer Charity's Marketing and Communications Team to develop and write content for new website https://www.beatsoncancercharity.org/. Mainly responsible for planning and creating articles, blog content and case stories for the My Light section - a unique online space providing information, advice and support to help cancer patients and their families through their cancer journey.

As Marketing Director for Quality Scotland, a membership based charity responsible for the promotion and delivery of the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Business Excellence Model to all sectors in Scotland I was responsible for:• Reinforcing and protecting the Quality Scotland brand to gain greater national profile and recognition for Quality Scotland’s vision “to make excellence a national characteristic of Scotland”• Developing the marketing strategy in line with the 3 year strategic plan and delivering marketing activity plans to achieve those strategic objectives• Developing and implementing our web and digital media strategy to support existing members and engage new members. Actively involved in updating and managing content, developing and coordinating our social media strategy and email marketing activity to promote Quality Scotland products, services and events through monthly e-zine "QS eNews"​, e-shots and a coordinated Twitter and Linked In presence• Copywriting and editing "Excellence Now", a quarterly online business magazine with the purpose of raising the profile and supporting the work of Quality Scotland• Planning, delivering and communicating the Quality Scotland events programme including parliamentary receptions, conferences, networking events, learning journeys, webinars and partner events• Promoting the annual Scottish Awards for Business Excellence, developing collateral, promoting sponsorship, organising event and growing attendance • Relationship management and working in partnership with a number of organisations to develop and implement joint marketing and communications activity and events for mutual benefit• Branding and promoting the Quality Scotland Training Academy, EQUIP and other products and services

Responisible for the provision of a wide range of strategic and tactical marketing and communications activities for a varied portfolio of business areas including Tourism, the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service, Business Gateway, Investors in People and e-Business. Successfully developed and delivered annual marketing and communications plans in consultation with Operations Teams, Corporate Communications and in line with Industry Objectives.

I was responsible for the promotion of a range of business telephone systems internationally. Provided a variety of marketing and communications services including production of advertising, product photography, collateral, presentations, exhibition materials and event organisation.
