Main responsibilities:· Preparation of month end production cost report, including trial balance, cost manager, creditors report, cashflow to broadcasters· Submit broadcaster invoices on their portals · Check production payroll and make sure costs they hit the actual in PMI · Regular reconciliation for all reports both for internal and external purposes · Regular liaison with respective Production Manager regarding ‘actuals’ and ‘costs to complete’ in cost manager and under- and overspends cost variance against budget· Review cashflow and production schedules· Provide support to Production Executives to prepare new budget for the next series · Provide support on complex shows and work with junior Production Accountant as required · Continuously improvement for internal control between finance and production progress.· Work with Saffery for Tax credit required cost report, and work out Tax credit forecast

Due to the increasing workload in Avalon, I am supporting the business by looking after 6 productions as Production Accountant including Flockstars, Don’t Get Done Get Dom, A Town and Country Murders and etc.* Processing payments of invoices in Sage* Entry of internal recharges and WIP balances in Sage* Reconciliation of weekly/monthly cost reports* Preparation of month end production packs, including trial balance, cost manager, creditors report, bank reconciliation and quarterly VAT return for each production* Running weekly / monthly production payroll on Sage Payroll* Regular liaison with respective Production Manager regarding ‘actuals’ and ‘costs to complete’ in cost manager, production payroll and under- and overspends against budget* Production close downs including closing bank accounts and transferring balances to the main ledgers, and generating a final cost report with accurate remaining ‘costs to complete’There are also other responsibilities to help out in central finance department* Prepare journals for central recharges, and correction between programmes on exchequer system* Assisting with review and clear up of creditors ledgers* Assisting with production accruals clear up* Assistance with bank reconciliations and clear up of un-cleared items* Reconciliation of old balance sheet* Produce monthly management accounts for one of our subsidiary company.Ad-hoc duties as required.
