My favorite way to capture a moment is by telling its story, and I am passionate about supporting others in this practice. I have worked as a writing coach for both high school and college students, and while completing my English BA at Arizona State University, I interned as a creative writing instructor (remotely) with incarcerated students in solitary confinement. I hope to continue working with students in both academic and correctional environments. When I am not writing or reading the work of others, I love to hike with my dog, and take her on excursions all across the USA in the van we sleep in.

I teach students different aspects of and approaches to writing creatively, as well as support them with brainstorming as they self-express through storytelling. In the Summer of 2023, I was given the opportunity to curate and lead TIWP's inaugural creative writing outdoors camp for middle school girls. I created a curriculum that incorporated nature into our pre-existing practices.
