Typical duties and skills as a sales, service, and technical support engineer at ONICON incorporated include:Working cooperatively and constructively with our in-house customer service team, regional sales managers, and independent sales representatives to meet annual sales goals, and to ensure customer satisfaction both before, during, and after the sale.Mastery of the technical aspects of all ONICON products as wells as the use of required diagnostic tools such as multimeters, serial communication utilities, control systems dashboards, in-house software, and third-party software. Ability to provide sales quotations in a timely manner. Ability to support independent sales representatives in these efforts as well.Ability to provide technical question support and troubleshooting assistance in a timely manner. This includes drafting new procedures and revising existing procedures. Periodic travel, typically solo, typically with little notice. 1-2 trips per month. The purpose of these trips is for technical support or commissioning.
