I strategically plan a program and a project from initiation to completion while assessing the risks and taking steps to mitigate them.My past work and research experience include directing the U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored Industrial Assessment Center, leading the U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored Combined Heat and Power in the state of Tennessee, Senior Mechanical Engineer in Applied Research Associates, a globally recognized research and engineering company, in Florida, and serving as Assistant Research Engineer at Texas A&M University in Texas. Presently, I work for U.S. Department of Energy sponsored Industrial Assessment Center as Director, and tenured Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Tennessee Tech.I am a cross-functional team leader and a growth-oriented and adaptable researcher with a drive to succeed. This has resulted in securing and managing $4.5 million external grant funding as PI and Co-PI, over 80 peer-reviewed scientific publications, 15 final reports, 1 book and 3 book chapters, mentoring over 15 lead energy and mechanical engineers, and wining 14 awards from federal and state organizations.
