-Established and responsible for a de novo Business Unit focused on development, licensure, sale and support of drugs--principally used in bleeding control--derived from donated plasma. With a focus on saving lives, we improve patient access to treatments to improve hemostasis and blood disorders.Business Unit included: Drug/Product Development, Sales Regulatory/Quality, Biologic Product Supply Chain, Operations-BD activities focused on novel sterilization of plasma, manufacturing of plasma derived drugs (IVIG, albumin, proteins), lyophilization of blood derived products, CGT, and global rollout of hemostasis drugs.

-Responsible for clinician education and pull-through demand generation-Responsible for implementation of the INTERCEPT Pathogen Reduction System and Blood Center consulting services within North America-Develop modeling for analysis of cost of hospital-acquired infection and cost-effectiveness of the system to prevent transfusion-based sepsis.-Manage team of blood center production technicians and licensed laboratory scientists (MLS and MTs) responsible for facilitating customer (blood centers and hospitals) manufacturing and transfusion of pathogen reduced blood components.-Manage consultancy and implementation services.-Manage integration of hardware and decision-making algorithms with Blood Establishment Computer Systems.-Manage technical and financial analytics of product sales cycle for full company portfolio; demonstrating value of INTERCEPT (blood safety) System, compatibility and lab/ patient benefits.-Manage lean integration initiative to assist customers with streamlining production of all blood components -Liaise with FDA, AABB on the development of first-in-class pre‐approved BLA packet to expedite blood center licensure of products-Consult on generation and submission of Biologics License Applications/ validation plans at centers using Cerus systems-Oversee development of training, deployment and customer facing QA material-Subject matter expert in FDA Rules and Regulations, AABB standards, and CLIA pertaining to laboratory operations, blood centers and blood processing equipment-Stood up testing and component laboratories in multiple locations. Including 4 in West Africa, in response to Ebola

Oversight of field-based transfusion medicine clinical consultants, development of training material, support for aphereis device education and training. SME on apheresis (plateletpheresis, progenitor cell collection), and photopheresis.
