I develop and manage high performing, resilient data infrastructures and properly maintain systems, both on-premise and in Azure and AWS. I am focused on the DBA, custom integration, data warehouse, AI, ML, and Architect realm. In additional to my technical duties, and serving as a subject matter expert to management, I have led development and data teams as diverse as .NET web developers and DBAs.I am proven in developing metadata-driven applications based on Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and Adaptive Cards (in both MS Teams and Outlook)I have performed expert management of data systems and triage of issues, including data recovery from client issues that arose. I also have done integration work beyond SQL Server, including with Oracle and third party sources. The ERPs I have worked significantly with are Colleague and Jenzabar on the database side, with some exposure to PeopleSoft for integration efforts. Highlights:Transact-SQL: 25 years development experience in all web application and reporting projects, including stored procedures, user defined functions, views, common table expressions, and the programmatic creation and alteration of database objects through T-SQL routines.SQL Server: 25 years development and administration experience, including Azure SQL DB and Managed SQL.SQL Server Integration Services: Developed complex data warehouse ETL processes that use a custom metadata model to be self-managing. Performed C# programming within SSIS packages.Power BI & SQL Server Reporting Services: Standardized on the technology and developed hundreds of advanced reports published to a custom intranet reporting portal that I designed and developed and support development efforts by clients across the country.C#, VB.NET: 15 years development experience using VB.NET, C# and ADO.NET to create vertical applications, third party application integrations (including cloud), and console applications. Blackboard, Canvas, and Slate integrations: Developed robust, bi-directional integrations with LMS and CRM systems based on interfacing with Colleague, Jenzabar, and PeopleSoft.
