I was the owner of eight of the applications of the company, four of them were the core business, I mentor the new developers of the team, share the best practices and help them in their onboarding process. I also take part in interviews as an evaluator. The improvements I made during my current job include implementing metrics in all the applications, reverse engineering our applications to solve production issues, and making proper documentation for all our processes and applications. We manage to increase the profit detecting issues based on the data that the metrics give to us.

I managed a group of eight developers remotely from countries across LATAM. My team was formed by backend, frontend, DevOps and full stack developers, I help them to build highly available, scalable and secure banking applications. Our customers include the biggest banks in Central America. I also contributed to the technical solution from the begin of the requirement to the delivery process. Participated in the review meetings with the stakeholders and customers to provide updates on project progress. I was also in charge to estimate the development times for each sprint and I defined the goals that satisfy the customer. During this time I learn Kubernetes deployment, and mastered Nginx, Apache HTTP server and Apache Tomcat configuration.

America Voice is a VoIP company it provide services like international calling, PIN-less international prepaid calling service that can be accessed by the customers through the phone dialing a local access number and sell gift cards, all this services are sold through a reseller portal. I was on charge of the reseller portal development and it’s back-end functionality; I also had under my responsibility the management the REST API through the use of WSO2 API Manager.
