In my career as a software engineer, I learnt that working does not have to feel like work. My curiosity has always been sparked by solving interesting problems and overcoming challenges; seeing my work bring value to customers is a reward in itself.I realized that this was mostly dependent on my working environment and processes. When those were well managed, I was consistently able to reach the state of flow, being both extremely productive and satisfied with what I did. To this end, I have taken the challenge of a leadership role, trying to build the right environment and process that make coming to work feel like fun while bringing increased value to the company and its client base.
