Primary developer for Novell's corporate download site. I designed, developed, maintained, and deployed this site, as well as the tools used by employees to provide content for download. Of particular note is the site's integration into Novell's financial systems and product base, scaling ability to handle terabytes of content while avoiding file duplication and wasted space, file archiving and backup system, providing for efficient customer searching, allowance for worldwide download mirror locations, secure and directed delivery of files, and browser and download manager compatibility.Awarded United States Patent for the software model used to protect and securely deliver restricted downloads from Novell's corporate download site (application number 20070288637), 2005.Team developer, and later sole maintainer, for the Novell Customer Center website.
