Here are further details about my scholarly work: Fileds of expertise:• My primary areas of expertise include security and memory, securitization theory, foreign policy analysis, public and digital diplomacy, and elite interviews. Top skills: • During my PhD, I developed extensive expertise as a historian, specializing in archival research across diverse sources, including Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) records and online archives such as newspaper and oral history collections. Skilled in conducting in-depth interviews, I bring a rigorous, detail-oriented approach to uncovering insights that bridge historical perspectives with present-day contexts. More recently, I have also gained experience in working with social media repositories. Main achievements: • I am the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in world-leading journals such as the European Journal of International Security, Intelligence and National Security, Studies in Conflict & Terrorism, Oral History Review, Cold War History and the Journal of Genocide Research. • Among my recent publications are the transcripts of two interviews I conducted with Mossad chiefs: the 8th, Danny Yatom, the 9th, Efraim Halevy, and 17th Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Moshe (Bogie) Ya'alon.All transcripts were published in the journal Intelligence and National Security.• My op-eds and commentary have appeared in The Conversation, Newsweek, the Washington Post, Haaretz, the Jerusalem Post and NBC News. Current work: • I am working on two contracted monographs: "Israeli-Turkish relations at the end of the Cold War" (Edinburgh UP, 2025) and the other "Israeli Memory Politics of the Armenian Genocide" (Amsterdam UP, 2026). • I am an active member of several professional organizations and have held visiting affiliations at Leiden Univeristy (NL), the PRIF Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (GR), and the University of South Welles (UK).
