Captain In the Paratroopers Reconnaissance Squadron, 35th Brigade, Special Forces, IDF.The Paratroopers Brigade, also known as the 35th Brigade, is a unit of paratroopers within the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). It has a history of carrying out special forces-style missions dating back to the 1950s.As a Captain in the unit i was trained and executed these capabilities in the Middle East:- Reconnaissance and surveillance in hostile environments- Training and development of other states' military and security forces- Offensive action- Counter-terrorism operations- Sabotage and demolition- Hostage rescue - Specific Data Collection- Target acquisitions- Directing fire supportDuring my military service I trained teams of combat soliders and lead them in complex and challenging missions- in routine and emergency situations.I served in the second Lebanon war as a team captain and fought in all sectors.I participated and lead soliders in missions in “Yehuda & Shomron”, fought in Gaza during the “ofert Yetzuka” mission and in many more different and challenging missions.Today, as part of my reserve service, I train the next generation of combat soliders in the Paratrooper Comando.
