- Coach, mentor and advise ARC employees and contractors regarding the ARC Integrated Management System (AIMS) and its corresponding tools/processes/rules. Have in depth understanding of ARC’s H&S Management System, Standards, SOP’s, Policies, expectations / accountabilities.- Support roll-out and sustainment of H&S initiatives / programs in the field (i.e., 5W’s, LSR’s, Risk Management / Tolerance, SSW’s, AIMS, Intelex etc.)- Support OSS with initial incident response for Potential Hurt 3+ / Tier 1 Process safety events. - Complete field-based H&S assurance audits / inspections (i.e., LSR Verifications, Regulatory Compliance Inspections, TDG Spot audits, SSW audits etc.) to identify and help correct safety management system weakness and worksite hazards.- Review SOP’s, JSA’s and Task Hazard Assessments of contractors and ensure they are complete and meet ARC standards / expectations.- Identify hazards on location and work with OSS to ensure appropriate follow-up has occurred. - Confirm all required documentation is available on job sites.- Support OSS / Capital Staff with participation in safety tailgates (when available), project kick-off meetings, concurrent ops, contractor engagement sessions. Actively promote H&S awareness, commitment, and leadership by building on ARC’s existing culture and program strengths. - Research, update, and prepare presentations (using established templates) for contractor quarterly meetings, CWOPs, DWOPs, PPL/FAC/CON Project Kickoffs etc. - Facilitate and liaise with PM’s on Incident Investigations.- Assist with suggesting, developing, and implementing new HSE strategies for ARC.- Attend and speak about recent findings / learnings, goals for current week, trending, highlights and lowlights at daily / weekly operational and HSE meetings.- Conduct Contractor Management assistance and support activities: Provide feedback on site activities, audits and inspections, quarterly meeting presence, mitigation plans, etc.
