The Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program provides support for cities and towns in Massachusetts to begin the process of planning for climate change resiliency and implementing priority projects. Assist in grant administration tasks, such as contracting, grant application review, and reimbursement processing.Research best practices around adaptation grant program metrics, identify metrics to track for the program (and individual projects), establish a system for metric collection, and create a reporting mechanism for senior leadership and the public.Coordinate regional climate resilience-related projects by identifying shared climate resilience interests across municipalities and fostering regional project development.Support ongoing and new regional projects like the Army Corps Boston Harbor Resilience Study.
