Support career services center with the implementation of administrative and logistical operations. Assist with career development initiatives including, but not limited to, conducting career development off-site events and special projects. Collaborate with Community Partner Coordinator to identify employment barriers to provide candidates with customized support. Assist candidates in exploring career paths and identifying their interests, skills, needs, and employment goals. Review resumes and assess candidates' eligibility for specific job openings. Conduct workshops to help build candidates' skills and improve their chances of employment. Follow up with candidates to obtain placement information and provide retention support. Input customers' data into the database and execute the efficient delivery of career services based on customer and employer needs. Manage compliance with funder policies and the program's mission and ensure data entry quality, integrity, and accuracy. Monitor the quality of customer service of the career center and make recommendations as to how the career center can maintain and improve the quality of services. Lead daily morning and weekly staff meetings, discuss corporate updates and share observations that will support team efforts to serve candidates better. Monitors workflow to ensure appropriate staffing and project completion. Regularly review the priority of projects and monitor the calendar for anticipated changes in service activity. Encourage candidates to become independent job-ready job seekers through development and recruitment services.
