CLiCK was a service providing safety and wellbeing support to women involved in selling/exchanging sex or images online in Scotland. I was the Communications Officer for the service, responsible for driving engagement and building relationships with relevant organisations in the sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS + Grew awareness of the service by leading on a multimedia promotion strategy spanning radio coverage, social media advertising and an advertising campaign in a national newspaper. + Developed a strong and recognisable brand identity for the service via:- written content across social media platforms, website and email marketing, with an approachable and knowledgeable tone of voice. - Professional and visually engaging social media graphics, infographics and promotional materials using online tools such as Canva.+ Monitored the risks and outcomes of communications opportunities, analysed data using Google Analytics and social media insights, and reported on the success of activity to key stakeholders on a monthly basis. Responsible for a growth of followers by +795% on Twitter and +595% on Facebook during my time in post. + Collaborated with colleagues in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects. - For example; the launch an interactive self-care resource called the ‘Together, Alone Toolkit’. I led on the visual design of the resource and delivered a promotional plan including; engaging social media content across multiple channels scheduled on Buffer, paid social media advertising and email marketing. The Toolkit, both in regards to content and design, received overwhelmingly positive feedback. The social media content I produced organically generated over 500 engagements and a reach of over 8000 across multiple social media channels, with an additional reach of over 4500 and 800 engagements generated from a Facebook advertising campaign.

Scottish Land & Estates is a membership organisation who champion and support rural businesses that provide economic, social and environmental benefit to the Scottish countryside. As the Digital Media Officer, I was responsible for developing professional communications outputs to build awareness for the organisation and its members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS + Responsible for the creation of a range of communications materials including; a weekly email newsletter (using MailChimp), social media content across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, blog posts and website maintenance (Drupal).+ Use of Google Analytics and social media insights to analyse and report on communications activity data to senior managers to inform strategic decisions. + Managed a digital content calendar to effectively communicate with policy and regional teams, converting complex policy information to digestible social media content for the wider public. + Development of a range of training and informational resources such as: a ‘Learning Lunch’ session on the use of LinkedIn for colleagues and a social media guidance document, and corresponding article in Land Business Magazine, for members. + Supported colleagues to successfully deliver publications and events to form new partnerships and raise awareness of the organisations and its members.

The Clean Hub was a membership platform which provided tailored business resources to independent clean beauty brands. Following a successful 10 week internship, I was responsible for growing the organisations online presence and creating new resources as Business Development Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS + Development and management of Wordpress based membership platform, including integrations with email marketing automation systems (Drip). + Responsible for all content creation; 3 blog posts per week on a variety of well researched topics, social media posts for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest and a community driven weekly newsletter. + Built relationships to both generate new client leads and collaborate with industry experts, leveraging their expertise to grow the business.
