I’m a person with equally strong IT and business management acumen with a clear focus on developing the business fueled by technology and thrive in a setting where technology is essential for creating value. My leadership style is primarily based on clear target setting, coaching and feedback. As a leader I really like to drive change initiatives, incremental as well as transformational when needed. This has always been in focus throughout my career. As a person I’m analytical, structured, driving, target oriented and open to new ideas and change.I started off my professional career year 2000 as a management consultant within Accenture. During these 7 years I got the opportunity to work within several different business sectors spanning from private businesses to governments. Common for these years were assignments within the field of IT delivery, business and IT management and finally focusing on IT strategy consultancy. After these years I felt a need to develop my leadership skills further and it was natural to take on a line manager role, this within If P&C Insurance where I have been since 2007. During the years within If I have had the opportunity to further grow in responsibility and develop my IT and business management skills, insurance proficiency as well as leadership. I have primarily developed this within the role as Head of IT within various Business Areas throughout the years, where I have been a member of the Business Area management team as in the If IT management team. In addition to driving many different IT development and strategy initiatives throughout the years, I have also been driving a lot of change initiatives such as; system outsourcing, building up a nearshore inhouse IT deliver hub in Riga (200+ FTE), IT organization transformation (affecting 600+ IT employees) and recently implementing an Agile Operating Model in BA Private (affecting 1000+ employees with the business organization and the IT organization).In addition I have also founded and is sponsoring If TechLab, a unit focusing on finding and utilizing new technologies when prototyping new business opportunities.
