As Landscape Architect in the Dublin studio of BDP my role involves design management across stages for projects in Ireland. Sectors I am engaged with currently are developer housing projects , commercial landscapes and public realm enhancements.

As senior landscape architect I was responsible for project coordination and on site progress monitoring for projects our design studio undertook. The tasks also included assisting the management in client coordination and scheduling work and team resources across the delivery time line. The role also offered me opportunity to work on overseas projects with work experience in China , India, UAE, public realm landscape design for government clients in coordination with heritage experts , stakeholders and design architects. Projects handled by me include conceptual guidelines and landscape master plan for an upcoming airport near Delhi , a public university campus site infrastructure and landscape coordination , city center re vitalization in Chandigarh. I was also responsible for projects in the middle east in coordination with other International design studios , this role also had me working in BDP Mena , Abu Dhabi on a public realm project for the department of transport.

Landscape Architect as part of the project teams delivering projects , involved in concept design and detailed design for residential and institutional schemes , this role also had me working in BDP Shanghai studio on masterplans and urban design schemes.

As an academic associate my responsibilities included assisting the senior professors at the department of Landscape Architecture in assignment evaluations and framing design exercises for students. I was also responsible to facilitate a fruitful discussion across the faculties and students during research paper reviews and academic thesis or design studios.

As a graduate architect , my summer internship objectives were to assist the team of landscape architects and technicians with preparation of drawings and documentation of site progress. Interactions with product supplier's and plant nurseries were also part of my responsibilities.

As project architect , I was responsible for assisting the senior management in delivery of design projects in the field of Landscape design services. We were local architects acting on behalf of International consultants to assist with delivery of projects in India. My role included site visit documentation , preparation of construction drawings , evaluating material samples and coordination with Engineering teams. The project types I have dealt with here include commercial buildings with public realm design , residential schemes with high rises and apartment clusters , and an embassy building for the Indian Diplomats stationed in Dhaka , Bangladesh.
