Eldo Alias is Senior Landscape Architect in the BDP India studio. The necessity to integrate functionality within the aesthetics of landscape is one of his key pursuits. Sensitive designs and context responsive solutions were always made priority during his academic tenure. Design in the public realm and creating value addition to civic spaces is one aspect he has continuously pursued through leading public sector projects. Prior to joining BDP in 2015, he was associated with the landscape department at CEPT University as an academic associate and partook in the post graduate landscape design studios with senior professors. His professional experience while working in New Delhi comes from involvement in high end corporate landscapes and residential development working in conjunction with concept designs from internationally renowned landscape consultants. His ability to coordinate the multiple facets pertaining to a design response while working as part of a team or independently is the key asset. 2018 onwards involvement with project costs and coordination with different stake holders at each design stage reviews and coordinating projects with BDP studios overseas has been part of his work profile. As senior landscape Architect he manages the team and assists the directors accordingly.
