With a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and a specialization in Aerospace, I have been working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) for over 10 years. In this role, I manage and deliver projects that enhance the performance, reliability, and safety of the airport infrastructure and equipment, such as the baggage handling system, the runway lighting system, and the air conditioning system.I have developed competencies in project management, contract management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving, which enable me to execute complex and multidisciplinary projects within budget, scope, and time constraints. I have also reduced asset maintenance costs, downtime, and risks by implementing preventive and corrective measures, with the help of technical and professional teams. I have a passion for aerospace engineering and a keen interest in the latest developments and innovations in the field.
