Serve as part of the advisory group to the Dean of the Honors College and am representative of the greater Honors College student body. As a Hearing Panel Member in Virginia Tech’s Office of Academic Integrity, I serve on hearing panels throughout the semester. Through engagement with Honor Council members, faculty, and students, I am involved in determining whether a student is responsible for a violation of the honor code and for recommending sanctions in cases where students are found responsible. I work to make an impact in the campus community and preserve the value of the VT degree. In this position, I develop and utilize social leadership skills such as time management, conflict management and public speaking. I am also familiar with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Work in a data mining project, under Dr. Capelluto, involving a lipidomic analysis of a giant virus using mass spectrometry, a project funded by the National Institute of Health in collaboration with a group at the University of Texas El Paso. Recognized by Principal Investigator for quickly and critically analyzing Mass Spectrometry and Targeted Fragmentation data. Create Power Points of progress reports and present them to research peers. Recipient of the Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science Undergraduate Research Fellowship; One of three students chosen out of all undergraduates participating in research at Virginia Tech to receive the ICTAS Research Fellow prestigious award in November 2022, in order to continue my research as a Fellow.

Help set the overall goals and direction of the chapter by organizing and leading events and projects. Works to maintain a positive relationship and clear communication between officers, the advisor, the national office, members and the community.

Volunteer in the Emergency and Pediatrics Department for a total of 100 hours. Provide limited direct patient care under the supervision of a PCT and transport patients to and from procedure rooms. Conduct Patient Rounds, comforting ED patients and ensuring their needs are met. Support residents in transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice versa. Restock supply rooms and carts to help doctors and nurses provide ready and excellent care. Help patients with mobility grooming, toileting, and dressing; answer patient call buttons. Act as a point of contact for families.

I am a summer researcher and intern through the National Science Foundation Center for Sustainable Technology's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program. In this program, I am located at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and am working under Dr. Zeev Rosenzweig and the mentorship of Kushani Mendis and Dr. Swapnil Ambade. My project is in the sustainable nanotechnology, physical chemistry, biochemical, and analytical chemistry fields.

In charge of the “Creativity and Brainstorming” wing that holds 30 students in the Innovate LLC dormitory; mentored and led these first year students over the 2022-2023 academic year through team-bonding and volunteering projects, such as for Kids Can Write and local food pantries. Worked with these students to encourage entrepreneurial minds with a creative lens in order to further innovation and act on new ideas.

Worked full-time, 40 hour weeks and helped create a fun, friendly, and informative experience for shoppers. Contributed to the sensation of shoppers attending a fun party/gathering that brightened their day. Helped customers to their cars when needed; assisted in organizing, stocking, and effective displaying of the store, along with running a register to ensure a great ending for the customer experience.
