When my 5th-grade teacher loved and encouraged me, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Throughout my years of teaching, my passion for helping students develop resilience has continued to grow. In a world in which young people feel helpless, it has been my mission to empower them with the education and coping skills necessary for perseverance. I strive to accomplish this by pursuing a role concentrated in mental health counseling upon graduation in May 2023. In my spare time, I enjoy fostering leadership in girls by volunteering as a Girl Scout Troop Co-leader. During the spring and summer months, you can find me tending to a variety of plants and flowers in my yard. When nothing is in bloom, I enjoy exploring nature by hiking with my family and Doodle.
