We run pop up community events, specialising in street food and contemporary craft markets, that bring the community together. Our values include enabling access for all customers and traders, celebrating and protecting our landscape, and supporting micro and independent businesses. I started running markets back in 2010 when I was working at the amazing Exeter Phoenix. With their support I launched contemporary craft market Unique Boutique, just when the craft revival was hitting its stride in the city. Meeting all these wonderful people making such quirky and unique goods inspired me and opened my eyes to the industrious work happening on kitchen tables. Our street food markets follow the same ethos - to bring people together in our beautiful landscape of the Jurassic coast, to eat. Food has always been the reason to gather, and our street food markets enable people across the community to access this simple pleasure. Perhaps you're a family with young children who can't sit still, a couple with very different palates, maybe you don't have much spare cash, or you live alone and want the socially relaxed setting of an outdoor market to connect with people/ We started with Seaton Eats Boutique in 2015 and now pop up in 3 further towns: Sidmouth, Axminster and Lyme Regis. come and join us at the community dining table and take part in a ritual as old as time. In addition to working as a soul trader for community asset events I have become an executive director of the new Seaton Chamber CIC. Working with likeminded business people in our home town we ae seeking to realise Seaton's potential and it unique identity along the Jurassic Coast. I'm also a trustee of teeny weeny super important charity The Mental Health Community, which seeks to embed mental health support in organisations, to be on a par with physical difference and neuro diverse needs.
