Oak Hill Parkway - $680mil joint venture project between Balfour Beatty US and Fluor to widen and reconstruct existing US290 for Texas Department of Transportation. Responsible for a team delivering over 600,000sf of various wall types across the project.

Field Engineer for Balfour Beatty South East Infrastructure on the Jimmy Deloach project. This project involved the construction of a new interchange and the extension of an existing highway. On this project I was involved with a wide range of disciplines and I was responsible for the planning and delivery of drainage and structures.

I was a Section Engineer on the A14 Huntingdon to Cambridge Improvement Scheme. On this project I was responsible for the safe and timely delivery of the River Great Ouse Viaduct superstructure. This 17 span structure comprises steel girders in a ladder orientation with a precast reinforced deck. The precast deck is being fabricated by the team in an in-house bespoke manufacturing facility.

I have previously worked as a Graduate Site Engineer for Balfour Beatty on the M60/M62 Smart Motorways Project. On this project I was an engineer for the technology and gantry demolition team, and the central reservation and structures team.My responsibilities included:-Setting out-Surveying as-built information-Subcontractor management-Programme management-Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements-Raising Permits to Work for various activities

This role involved assisting the Structures Investigation Group with investigations of post-tensioned structures around the country. For this position I got involved with a wide variety of activities from site works through to analysis the results and creating reports for clients such as TfL and the Highways Agency.Site works involved me working at different locations around the country, often on night shifts. During the works I was responsible for managing teams of subcontractors and driving a programme. It was important that I was present to find solutions to any problems that arose such as logistics with traffic management on site and health and safety issues. After the site works had been completed it then became my responsibility to create a comprehensive and easy to use report for the client.
