As an educator it is my role to inspire, motivate, and educate young learners and develop their social, emotional, and moral skills. I work collaboratively to create and plan an engaging curriculum, ensuring the needs of all learners is met for both long and short-term goals. Being able to assess progress and identify and adapt to academic challenges is key to supporting the success of pupils of all levels.As the English subject lead, I also oversee the teaching of reading and writing across the school by developing and monitoring our methods of teaching, and planning and delivering staff and parent training.Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable me to form solid relationships with pupils and their parents and be able to provide honest feedback and support. Our data-lead learning methodology requires a good level of I.T. competency to be able to efficiently use digital tools for analysis and reporting. Planning both internal and external (school trips) events also requires strong organisational skills.
