Worked in production of Fisher Fair Scones for 2-3 weeks annually at every Fair since 2005. This involves production of food items at a fast pace while adhering to quality and health standards. I served as a volunteer at TAM in several areas including as a lobby greeter, assisting occasionally with special events and processing mailings for membership renewals and various promotions.

During this time period I worked several Christmas seasons for the salvation Army Red Kettle fund drive. The dates listed are representative of a typical season. This might seem an easy job but in fact the Salvation Army has high standards for workers as it affects their image as a charity. You are required to adhere to a dress code, stand at attention outside in all weather and greet people for the entire shift- no leaning, sitting, reading, snacking, phones, gum chewing, etc. in sight of the public, nor touch the money in any fashion or accept tips.

As a team member, I contributed my bicycle experience to help develop a central bike assembly shop in the Distribution Center, serving REI's online customers as well as pre-assembling bikes for their retail locations. This job involved some project development and team building type activities in addition to the assembly work itself, as we were trying to design an assembly line system that would serve as a model for the whole company.

My job was assembly and repair in a high end, boutique type bicycle shop, featuring road, mountain and commuter cycles. Service writing and estimation of repairs, parts and accessories sales, pre-sale inspection and adjustments, UPS shipping. The shop has since been sold and it is now owned by Tacoma Bike.

Precision assembly of major aircraft structures involving work on metals and composites. Using engineering drawings and performing assembly processes including locating, measuring drilling and fastening of parts.

Responsible for daily operations of bicycle sales and repair store, including customer service, repairs, purchasing. supervising staff, banking.
