I work as a freelance consultant insolvency solicitor for a number of firms, including Harper James and EMW LLP as well as writing legal articles. Having worked as a partner in private practice for many years, I joined Lexis Nexis in 2011 to set up and lead an on line R&I practical guidance product for insolvency lawyers and practitioners called Lexis PSL. I left Lexis to enjoy some work life balance, setting up as a freelance consultant (Eleanor Stephens Consulting Ltd), while travelling. I continue legal writing, and take on ad hoc legal work supporting firms who need the help of an additional insolvency lawyer where it doesn't make business sense to recruit permanently.
