My roles at work are varied from being a front of house customer facing team member, bartender, food server, or general helper for setting up/taking down at events. Agency work requires you to be very flexible and have a can-do attitude as you often do not know exactly what you will be doing and are needed to turn up on the day and be ready to help anywhere. Through working for the agency I have had training and practice in health and safety, customer care and problem resolution. During school I enrolled in a tutoring scheme for the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. I tutored students at GCSE level, helping and guiding them through issues they had from class, homework, and past papers. My communication and leadership skills were improved by this experience.
