I edit for our text, and manage our online sales, our inventory, and our accounting.Afterword Books is a Los Angeles-based publisher specializing in uncanny fiction and art. We draw inspiration from the end pages, seeking out the whispers left behind and the echoes of images lost. We are dedicated to preserving and presenting forgotten voices, old and new. Our titles are available in several LA independent bookstores, as well as directly through our website.

I have experience with headshots, event photography, commercial stock, and street photography. This only represents my period freelancing; I've trained with a professional photographer with 40+ years of experience, and have been working with my own equipment (both film and digital) for nearly 20 years.

I worked full-time in multiple departments across a thriving and busy world-famous record store as a cashier, customer service associate, a stockist of various physical media all throughout the store (music across all physical formats, movies, books, posters, accessories, shirts, and more), as well as worked in the receiving department of the store, accepting daily shipments of stock for the store, adding them to our inventory system, and preparing them for processing for merchandising on the sales floor. Most days I juggled multiple projects across multiple departments, along with regularly assisting our customers in person and over the phone.

I helped organize, archive, list, buy, and sell inventory, primarily used, rare, and antiquarian books, and used vinyl records. I created and managed the social media presence and activities for the business.

I edited at least one piece per week for the copy desk, ensuring that the wide variety of content posted to their online archive (as well as what will eventually end up in their semi-annual print review) read clearly, was error-free, and adhereed to the publication's house style guide.
