I am a creative, passionate 22 year old who loves nature, both on the water and on the snow. I enjoy developing myself physically and mentally through travelling, education and personal pursuits such as sailing, PC gaming and skiing. I have recently finished my undergraduate taught programme in marine zoology at Newcastle University, for which I graduated with a 2:1. My third year research project involved mapping data from CCAMLR, the British Antarctic Survey and KRILLBASE to assess the distribution of Fur Seals and Krill around South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, using ArcGIS desktop. I have developed a keen interest in seal foraging and pup-provisioning and also the changing environment of the poles from this project and my years at Newcastle.I have my Anwärter level 1 and 2 awarded by the Viennise Ski and Snowboard Instructors Assciation. After this I worked for one season (2019/2020) as a ski instructor with Skischule Arlberg, based in St Anton am Arlberg. I worked with children from 3 up to age 13 speaking both German and English. I will be completing my Landes level 1 qualification in December of this year.In future, I would love to work first as a ski instructor, then in animal rescue and rehabilitation, preferably in Austria and the south coast of England respectively. Both of these places require an active, open mindset and knowledge and care for the environment and its inhabitants.
