Initiated, influenced, and partnered with the SVP of engineering to spin up a data-driven engineering experience program focusing on Color’s engineering-wide initiatives and the evaluation of our teams’ perception of their day to day experience. Navigated the ambiguity of this program to deliver a revamp of our engineering-wide communication strategy, a series of meetings with engineering leadership to focus on quality metrics, and a strategic effort to uplevel the impact and deliverables of engineering specific initiatives. Roadmap included a CI/CD improvement project, a UX infra component migration initiative, the establishment of interfaces and integration of Kubernetes among others. Led multiple consumer-facing product programs simultaneously including the delivery of a genetic testing program and a consumer facing preventative wellness program; replacing a 3rd party integration leveraging REST APIs and reducing time to integrate with new clinical partners by 90% in less than one year through five B2B2C highly complex product launches, decreasing costs and improving how teams work at a rapid pace. Influenced and delivered a shift in ownership from TPM to Eng Managers for the scaling of our Incident Management program alongside process improvements for retrospective deliverables. Authored organization-wide training for non-incident-responders and support-engineering best practices documentation for Slack, Zapier, and PagerDuty integrations and implemented automated Slack reminders for retrospective action items, increasing AI closure by 35%.

Actively delivered a governance program across an organization of 750+ engineers and 4 major product areas to ensure product requirements as well as data migration strategies are employed effectively in order to meet GDPR requirements by May 25, 2018 avoiding up to $4B in fines. Efforts included data annotation and migration to a new infrastructure alongside UX changes to inform members about data use. Created strategies for ensuring tickets are tracked effectively leveraging JIRA and Microsoft BI Tooling as well as weekly Scrum of Scrum meetings. Advising global team on effective reporting methods and concepts to ensure information is streamlined for all product teams involved. Influencing strategic direction in partnership with Engineering leadership to employ technical solutions that centralize effort on smaller teams rather than solutions that require coordination across multiple dependent groups. Collaborating across geographies with other leaders to eliminate bottlenecks as they arise in order to continue the required momentum of this program.
