As an AmeriCorps National Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools, I work within a 6th grade Science class to gain experience with teaching, classroom management, and provide extra support in math and science. As a team of teaching fellows, we organize and run an after school program during which students receive additional academic support, complete homework and explore new interests through a wide variety of clubs.
