About Eleanor Whitaker
I'm happy to be a graduate intern at Sunstone Counseling in Falls Church, Virginia. I loved being a nurse practitioner and a teacher, and I see counseling as a natural extension of these professions. My counseling interests include working with children and adolescents, perinatal and postpartum clients, the LGBTQ community, and people struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and travel. This past year, I have loved reading Horse, Demon Copperhead, The Book of Delights, and The Covenant of Water. Right now, I am reading Women Food and God.
