Summary/Objective: The Customer Service Lead is responsible for setting the example for customer service excellency and supporting the Ashby culture. This is done by leading using the 4 core values of Growth, Accountability, Integrity and Communication. The Customer Service Lead is responsible for ensuring that customers are receiving a great experience through daily management of team members. This includes hiring, empowering, motivating, coaching, training, recognizing, supporting and problem solving with all team members. The Customer Service Lead is expected to think outside the box and make improvements to processes; as well as help each team member achieve their full potential. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting the VP of Operations with development of team, onboarding, success measurement, rewards/recognition programs and reinforcing the idea that when the company is doing well it is the result of a group effort.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and accountability of the Education Team including professional staff development and implementation of high-quality training and evaluation programs. • Display an outstanding work ethic and model excellence in presentation skills, as well as provide support for the director, manager, presenter and program needs. • Monitor effectiveness of education programs by conducting comprehensive reviews and identifying continuous improvement opportunities based on best practices. • Assist in managing the annual education department budgets. • Initiate, develop, and oversee the publishing of educational materials (e.g. Teacher Guides, Visitor Guides, and Educational Brochures). • Collaborate and work closely with other departments as assigned for project development. • Organize and take direct supervision over new education programs including, but not limited to: Educational Podcast Program Educational Website Content Multimedia Activities for Outreach, Field Trip and Onsite Education • Assist with seasonal and annual reports for all education department grants. • Attend professional development opportunities to improve education department capabilities. Out of state travel may be required. • Participate in fundraising, public relations and the promotion of the organization as needed. • Collaborate with organizations outside of LLPA to create partnerships and expand program opportunities. • Organizational and leadership skills are required. • The candidate must have excellent time management, written and oral communication skills. • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Education.
