Founder & Executive CoachExceptional Leadership Jan 2018 - PresentWhether you’re at a big company or a small one, there’s a clear trend industry-wide: The way we’re working needs a revamp. And as a leader driving those changes towards more equitable, inclusive, anti-racist and feminist companies, you need support. Support from someone who has years of experience in high performance management, a focus on inclusion and equity and the tools to help you navigate the emotional challenges that come with leading big change. We'll tackle your day-to-day leadership challenges and your existential ones: helping your team set product and technical vision, navigating career development and performance management, growing your own career in the direction that feels most authentic and exciting (even if that has nothing to do with tech or leadership), building the tools to feel invigorated instead of exhausted and banish the Sunday Scaries forever.I’d love to invite you to join me in 1:1 coaching. It’s time to live your values every day, lead your team to true high-performance (not high impact+burnout) and do it all while creating a life that you can thrive in.Want to get started? Software EngineerHuman Computation Department, Carnegie Mellon University May 2007 - Aug 2007Developed an online multiplayer game to that challenges players to agree on a word to fill a blank in a sentence and the dictionary definition of that word. The data gathered from this game can be used to improve software that understands, writes, or translates human languages by providing an input set showing which definition of a word is being used in different example sentences. This project was in conjunction with Luis van Ahn's Games With a Purpose group (gwap.com), whose goal is to create activities for humans that result in large datasets for computers (like reCAPTCHA).[This project used Java, JDBC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX patterns.]
