• Operate UPS’s, Generators, Automatic Transfer Switch’s, Switchgear, Motor Starters, Power Meters Construct, test, install, and repair power circuits and data cables to computer equipment.• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance routines.• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and control systems and equipment.• Supervise external vendors to ensure the regulations and operational procedures are followed.• Able to work without little or no supervision• Able to operate UPS’s, Generators, Automatic Transfer Switch’s, Switchgear, Motor Starters, Power Meters, • Review and update complex mechanical and electrical drawings• Be able to reproduce, from memory, single line diagrams of all data centers in assigned location.• Knowledge of theory of operation for: Generators, double conversion UPS, transformers, circuit breaker panels, switchgear, centrifugal pumps, , • Familiarity with the procedures for performing hot work on energized electrical panels including OSHA safeguards and protective equipment• Knowledge of basic electrical theory including Ohm's Law, AC power, DC power/voltage/current relationship, grounding, and electrical circuits.• 24x7 data center facility on-call responsibility.• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans and other technical documents.• Install, or oversee, the installation of power for customer orders and other electrical modifications as assigned• Maintain data center documentation as assigned layouts and diagrams.• Prepare Maintenance Window documentation for work to be performed.• Prepare reports on data center facility performance.• Able to create detailed MOPs for all maintenance and operational aspects of the data center. • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
