Improved Friction Stir Welding process eliminating hundreds of man hours of rework. 45% reduction for Stage 2 assembly time over the course of 2014. Optimized chemical processing removing 750 hours from paint process, saving $151,000 per Stage 1. Cut 250 assembly hours from Rocket Tank Welding.

Lead team of a dozen engineers to develop the assembly factory needed to build enough avoinics to fly rockets at a faster pace than any medium rocket factory in history. Tought and implemented Lean manufacturing, project management, design for manufacturability, and supply chain optimization techniques. Implemented a company-wide material tracking solution, eliminating thousands of hours of searching for components, which included negotiating softare contract, hiring staff to code, and implementing hundreds of thousands of dollars of hardware.

In charge of design of all harnessing in the pressure section of our Dragon space craft. I did the electrical engineering of the harnessing, selecting apropriate connectors, wire, backshells, and assembly processes.
