Pelikan is the first and leading online travel agency in Slovakia, operating in 5 CEE markets. As a Product Specialist for the Hungarian market, my responsibilities included:- creating new package holidays, including domestic holidays, city breaks, summer holidays and long-haul holiday packages- working with the products of foreign tour operators (mainly German, Austrian and Hungarian)- communication with business partners, including hotels, tour guides and DMCs, finding new partnerships- close collaboration with the marketing department, preparing products for marketing campaigns- internal communication with the customer service and reservations department- actively following travel industry trends, analysing competitors’ products- internal analysis of performance and sales, reporting- translation of texts and copywriting

Three-month internship at the Front Office of the X-BIONIC® HOTEL. This four-star hotel is part of the x-bionic® sphere, a complex that offers professional conditions for 27 Olympic sports and is an official Olympic training center in Slovakia. As a Front Office agent, the major responsibilities included the check-in and check-out of the guest; upselling; invoicing and payments; customer service and complaint management; night audits; assistance to event managers and participants; as well as various administrative tasks. Through this position, valuable experience was gained related to the operation of a recently opened hotel that attracts customers of diverse profiles.

Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain

Four-month internship during the main season at the Front Office of the azuLine Hotel Coral Beach in Es Canar, Ibiza. The azuLine Hotels have been operating for over 20 years with more than 10 hotels in the Balearic Islands. As a Front Office Intern of this 250-room hotel, the responsibilities included the check-in and check-out of the guests, providing excellent customer service, complaint handling, invoicing, miscellaneous administrative and back office tasks. This position required fluency in English, Spanish and German; exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; as well as the ability to cope with an intense workload and constant pressure.
