So, after 26 years, and 1 day, after many conversations with many people and guidance from many differing directions l created 'Elementary Financial' and have aligned with Hillross to be Geelong's newest Financial Services Company. And thus Elementary Financial begins 'a journey of a thousand miles starting with a single step' and will adopt a philosophy, an ethos which will look to bring as many people on a journey where we can work towards what we dream of, what we are looking for, what everyones idea of financial freedom is. By establishing Elementary Financial, l have created the most precious resource of all, time and with time comes clarity and with clarity comes an excitement for what we will be able to achieve above and beyond just financial advice. So, when l thought about it l shaped my answer and began to shape my life by fulfilling my lifelong dream to have my own company. I am about people. I love it and love what i do.

With the help of my peers, was able to refine the way in which l provided advice and also define my Client Value Proposition. During this time l completed my accreditation in Self Managed Super Funds, Margin Lending and Gearing. This was a defining time in my career as this led me to develop a love for the craft of Financial Advice however refine it to not only care about financial goals and needs but also to care about the emotional needs of my clients.Westpac also allowed me to create a client portfolio in an environment that worked for not only for the bank, but also myself and my clients.

Upon leaving the Commonwealth Bank l commenced a Bank Management role with Bendigo Bank and continued to complete the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. Upon completion l moved into a Financial Planner position until such time that l was approached by Westpac for a Senior Financial Planning position.

Started off as a Teller and worked my way into Relationship Management and then Sales Management position specialising in Home and Investment Lending. During this period l went to school to complete the Diploma of Financial Planning and commenced the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. I left the Commonwealth Bank to further my self development to manage staff and to learn new management via another company.
